Cataract Surgery By Dr. Lander
Dr. Lander has been performing cataract surgery in the south central Pennsylvania region since 1982. As of the time of this writing (July, 2010), he has performed approximately 5000 cataract surgeries and is experienced with many different surgical techniques. That allows the surgery to be customized to your particular eye and visual needs.
Modern cataract surgery is performed in an outpatient surgical center. The surgery usually takes about fifteen minutes. In the great majority of cases we do a small incision that requires no sutures, so there are very few restrictions in one’s activity, even immediately after surgery. Leader Heights Eye Center is located in York, Pennsylvania, a 45 minute drive from Harrisburg, Gettysburg and Lancaster.
